heal.abstract	Στην περιοχή των μυδοκαλλιεργειών της Χαλάστρας του Κόλπου Θεσσαλονίκης, τοποθετή- θηκαν 2 ρευματογράφοι του εργοστασίου AANDERAA τύπου RCM7/8. Ο ένας ρευματογράφος ποντίστηκε στην εξωτερική πλευρά (προς την ανοικτή θάλασσα) της μυδοκαλλιέργειας και σε απόσταση 15.0 m από αυτή και ο δεύτερος στην εσωτερική πλευρά (προς την ακτή). Και οι δύο ρευματογράφοι βρίσκονταν σε βάθος 5.0 m από την επιφάνεια της θάλασσας. Στη διάρκεια των μετρήσεων το ρεύμα που καταγράφηκε στο ρευματογράφο που ήταν ποντι- σμένος στην εξωτερική πλευρά της μυδοκαλλιέργειας (προς την ανοικτή θάλασσα) παρουσιάζει σημαντική μεταβλητότητα ως προς τη διεύθυνσή του. Στον εσωτερικό ρευματογράφο καταγρά- φηκε ρεύμα με μικρότερη μεταβλητότητα και κυρίως παράλληλο προς την κύρια διεύθυνση που είναι ποντισμένη η πλωτή μυδοκαλλιέργεια, ενώ η μέση τιμή του ρεύματος στον εσωτερικό ρευματογράφο είναι περίπου 30% μικρότερη από την αντίστοιχη τιμή στον εξωτερικό ρευματο- γράφο. Επομένως είναι φανερή η παρεμπόδιση της κίνησης της θαλάσσιας μάζας από την πλωτή μυδοκαλλιέργεια, κυρίως όταν το ρεύμα έχει φορά κάθετη στην πλευρά της πλωτής κατασκευής, που συμπίπτει με τη διεύθυνση στην οποία είναι διατεταγμένες οι αρμαθιές των μυδιών. Η επίδραση των μυδοκαλλιεργειών στην κυκλοφορία των θαλασσίων μαζών μελετήθηκε επί- σης και με τη χρήση μαθηματικού ομοιώματος της κυκλοφορίας, ώστε να εκτιμηθεί η βέλτιστη διάταξη των μυδοκαλλιεργειών στη θαλάσσια περιοχή της Χαλάστρας του Κόλπου Θεσσαλο- νίκης.	el
heal.abstract	In the area of the shell farms of Chalastra in the Thessaloniki Gulf, two AANDERRA, type RCM7/8 current meters were moored. The first one was on the outer (open sea) side of the shell farm and 15.0 m away from it, while the second was moored on the inner side of the farm. Both RCM were moored at a depth of 5.0 m below the surface of the sea . During the measurement period, the current measured in the outer RCM was characterized by strong variability in its direction. While the current recorded in the inner RCM had less variability in its direction and it was mainly parallel to the side of the shell farm,its mean velocity was about 30% less than the mean velocity of the outer current. Therefore, the circulation obstruction caused by the shell farm, mainly when the current is perpendicular to the side of the farm, is clear. The influence of the shell farm on sea water circulation was also studied, using a mathematical model of barotropic circulation, in order to estimate the optimum layout for the Chalastra shell farms.	en
